GHOST ALIGNER THERMAL PLIERS

Technical information

AISI 410–420 stainless steel pliers which can be used to create hooks for elastic traction or for applying adjustments of varying intensity to dental aligners.

PRODUCT FOR PROFESSIONAL USE

Applications

• Making hooks for use with elastic tractions
• Creating triggers to control rotations, axes, translations, etc.
• Creation and cutting of buttons to optimise the retention of any auxiliary materials

NOTE: We recommend heating the tool with a mini torch to make it easier to shape, taking care not to burn a hole in the material.

Sterilisation

• Pre-clean the instruments using a high-quality ultrasonic cleaning solution that is pH-neutral and contains rust inhibitors. Using distilled water will provide additional protection against rust and discolouration.
• Dry the joints thoroughly with compressed air and a dry towel.
• Place the unpackaged instruments on the tray with the jaw open. Avoid instrument-to-instrument contact.
• Run the sterilisation cycle at 134 °C (275 °F) for 3 minutes (autoclave). Refer to the instructions for the specific make and model of instruments you are using.
• Lubricate the joints.

NOTE: All pliers are made from AISI 410 and 420 stainless steel and are covered by a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase.
