Technical information

An essential tool for measuring interdental spaces before and after stripping. Available in three sizes: 0.10 mm, 0.20 mm and 0.30 mm. Can be stacked to achieve greater thicknesses. Made from autoclavable stainless steel.

PRODUCT FOR PROFESSIONAL USE

Applications

  • Measurement of interdental spaces before and after stripping.

Sterilisation

  • Pre-clean the instruments using a high-quality ultrasonic solution that is pH-neutral and contains rust inhibitors. The use of distilled water will provide additional protection against rust and discolouration.
  • Dry the joints thoroughly with compressed air and a dry towel.
  • Place the unpackaged instruments on the tray with the jaw open. Avoid instrument-to-instrument contact.
  • Run the sterilisation cycle at 134 °C (275 °F) for 3 minutes (autoclave). Refer to the instructions for the specific make and model of instruments you are using.

NOTE: All space measuring devices are made of stainless steel and are covered by a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase.

The maximum measurable thickness is 0.60 mm. The kit includes three feeler gauges of different sizes: 0.10 mm, 0.20 mm and 0.30 mm. By stacking several feeler gauges on top of one another, greater thicknesses can be measured.
Yes. The thickness gauges are made of autoclavable stainless steel.
